About HealthSav.com

HealthSav™ is a Rockland County NY based firm which in October 2009 was given the prestigious status of Training Center by the American Heart Association.   HealthSav specializes in the training of individuals for developing the proper skills and demeanor during any kind of crisis.  We service the entire Tri State including Rockland, Westchester, Nassau, Suffolk and Orange Counties along with all 5 boroughs of New York City and areas of New Jersey and Connecticut.  CPR training not only trains the individual on the proper mechanics needed to help save a life through Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation but also educates the lifesaver in how to stay cool under pressure.  First aid training teaches not just how to control bleeding or identify certain injuries but how to properly maintain a professional approach with a scared victim.  Training in more advanced structures such as disaster preparedness helps people understand the proper means to keep others as cool as possible during a crisis.

HealthSav was founded by Lenny Nathan, a retired production executive in the broadcast television industry, who is an EMT in Rockland County providing healthcare & training to professionals in the medical industry.  In 2007 Mr. Nathan was also asked to join the American Heart Association's  Emergency Cardiovascular Care committee for NY & NJ Community Strategies.  In 2010 he joined the Tri County (Rockland, Orange and Sullivan) AHA Board of Directors and since 2009 Basic Life Support regional Faculty for the AHA .  Through his years in organizing & producing major live sporting events Mr. Nathan learned how to stay calm under pressure.  This is something that is applied to all training through HealthSav.  HealthSav was granted the prestigious status of Training Center by the AHA in 2009.  This designation is not frequently given by the AHA and HealthSav is only the 6th such facility in Rockland County and the only one offering regularly scheduled courses to the public 6 days a week.

Do you want your business to have the ultimate in cardiac arrest preparedness?  Then getting an AED and becoming a PAD (Public Access Defibrillation) point is the vital step you want to take.  HealthSav will provide your business with an AED bsased on your needs and take care of all the paperwork filings necessary to properly ensure your business's compliance with NYS and local regulations.  Getting an AED is a big step but the most important one in the fight to save lives from cardiac arrest.  NYS individuals and businesses may qualify for the $500.00 NYS Tax Rebate.  Ask your accountant if you qualify to file tax form IT-250.  In July of 2010 the American Heart Association got a new AED Good Samaritan Law signed into effect in NYS.  This law virtually eliminates all liability for any business or entity having an AED.  Learn more by calling us for details.

If your business (restaurant, bar, health club etc.) is looking to become compliant in the NYS law pertaining to resuscitation equipment HealthSav will make sure you are compliant.  Just contact us  through this web site and we will be glad to come by to your facility and check locations for your signage and equipment, all of which will be provided by HealthSav in one package.

Our CPR training is the finest available with more hands time working on a manikin than almost any other course.  We create real lifelike situations to help you gain the skills and confidence in your CPR skills.  Most who have taken CPR before leave our courses feeling far more competent to handle an emergency, should one arise, than they did after any of their previous CPR courses.
